Living your life to the fullest doesn’t mean trying all things. Maybe we have to realize first what truly matters to us and spend our time there. We should be carving our name on people’s hearts for that will last a lifetime. Maybe the real question is not ‘How many places have you been?’ or ‘How much money have you earn?’ but ‘How many lives have you touched?’

Some people say that dying too young is a waste for you haven’t lived your life to the fullest. But I think, knowing your Savior, believing in Him and living for Him even just for a short time is already a fulfillment of our life’s greatest purpose. Why feel sorry for a short-lived life when you can spend eternity in a better place? Whether we die young or old, what matters is that we know Jesus and He knows us.

My ‘Christmas-Prayer-List’

As a kid, I never tried doing a Christmas Wish List since I am well aware of our situation. But I did want ‘stuffs’ before just like everyone else. I am not really into material things and I am very much grateful to God for guarding my heart against such desires but what I want to do today is to make a list of things that I’m desperate to get this Christmas. So let us begin.

#1 Shelter/Home for Street Children Even Just on Christmas Day
Christmas is a time for celebration and I believe Jesus wants these kids to feel the same way we do when we’re with our families or people we care about. I can’t stand to see children sleeping in the gutter or in abandoned stalls and I pray that they will soon find their true way home.

#2 End of War Between Nations
I stand by the belief that nobody wins in a war. Whoever overcomes suffers the same pain as the conquered one — death, orphaned children, trauma and endless suffering.

#3 Cleansing of the Government in Our County
Our nation is badly in need of ‘God-fearing and faithful’ leaders. Many of us have already given up the hope but this should not be. We have a great God who hears us and no matter how long the answer might be, isn’t it better to live with hope than living in disgust?

#4 Every Christian Will Live Like Christ
I know it’s confusing but when you say ‘I’m a Christian’ and yet your life doesn’t manifests you’re one, we’ve got a big problem there. I do still have a lot of things to work out in my life and becoming Christ-like seems like an impossible dream but I think it’s better to try harder than intentionally forget how we should be. It’s all by grace anyway and nothing is impossible if you have such great faith. Grace is overflowing and we can’t always use our weaknesses to be an excuse.

#5 Peace, Joy and Comfort for the Yolanda Victims
I don’t know how but I believe God has his own mysterious ways to make it happen. We’ve all seen enough, we’ve heard enough and some of us even cried with them. We can’t change what happened and we can’t make them forget. But we can still give them hope.

Please join me in praying for all these things in my list. Prayer is such a powerful thing and by faith, we will someday witness what God can do. I also encourage you to make your own prayer list and make this season more meaningful by touching other people’s lives even those on the other side of the planet through prayers.

WE DO HAVE A REASON TO CELEBRATE. No matter what situation you are in right now, may you find joy knowing that a Savior is born to die for you, for all of us.

HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! God bless you.

Fill your heart with love and let it drown all the negativity inside you.

There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, ‘Thy will be done,’ and those to whom God says, ‘All right, then, have it your way.

There is no ‘right age’ to share the gospel because you’ll never know when someone’s life’s gonna end. Let the children come to Jesus for He cares for them so much.

It’s sad to think that we are trapped by the rules of this world. We often do things not because we want to but because we have to. If I were to live by my own rules, I would be sailing by now and making my own adventures.

I believe in God like I believe in the sun, not because I can see it, but because of it all things are seen.

ONE BODY, MANY PARTS

Scripture: But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body.” (1 Corinthians 12:18-20)

I think this passage is the best description of what a church is. Hindi nga lang sa mga church eh, but in every group. Indeed, each one has a different ability that makes us unique and the church, diversified. Paano na lang kung lahat pastor? Or lahat techcrew? Madali sya intindihin…we need each other, pero madali ba tanggapin?

I admit, guilty ako sometimes for wishing I could be someone else, being able to do something I’m not made for. Minsan we admire someone too much that it turns out to be envy na pala. Kahit sa normal situation lang eh, you wish to be someone else kasi feeling mo mas ‘cool’ yung talent nya. Frustration is the fruit of discontentment. Papahirapan lang naten ang sarili naten kung pipilitin nating gawin yung bagay na ipinagkatiwala sa iba ng Lord. And if we push ourselves to do something we’re not made for, we exhaust ourselves but find no satisfaction at all. If we refuse to accept doing what God has entrusted us, who will do it instead?

God made us the way He wants us to be, for a purpose. And we ought to do our best kasi kung sa atin yun pinagkatiwala ng Lord, it only means na tayo lang ang makakagawa nun perfectly and accordingly to His will.

Envy is like a poison that paralyzes the whole body. Tanggapin naten na kanya-kanyang ability yan. Wag kang mainggit kung mas maganda yung role nya. No one is indispensable. No matter how small or big your task is, ibig sabihin importante and vital yun for the body to function effectively.

And the most important this is, we should work together. Hindi porket gifted ka with leadership e ikaw na lang nang ikaw. You should always consider every one else. Practice unity kasi kahit gaano kagagaling ang bawat member individually, it will not be as good as a whole kung walang unity.

Again, it all starts within. Surrender your selfish desires to God and allow Him to put His desires in your heart instead. It’s not about us anyway, it’s all about Him.

  • Overcome envy by acceptance,
  • Avoid frustration,
  • Practice unity; and
  • Make sure you do your best all the time.
