June 16, 2013 High School Fellowship @ APNTS
God gave us a beautiful weather and so we were able to have our picnic. Another wonderful day spent with our Creator! ;)
Pray. Love . Serve
Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
I think ito yung pinaka unang envelop nang sweldo ko on my summer job sa munisipyo pa nung high school. Tapos ginawa ko syang taguan ng pera. Then when I became a Christian, I wrote these two important verses that serve as great reminder pagdating sa pera.
God does not want us to love money in a way na dun na tayo nagrerely for security. But He’s also telling us that we should be responsible enough to provide for ourselves. God wants us to have money, but He does not want money to control us.
Think of it: Jesus is willing to forgive our failures and call us into His service. After all, if only perfect people are qualified to serve Him, He wouldn’t have anyone to choose from.
But as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more.
